Windham Bay, Alaska

Located 65 miles south of Juneau, access to Windham Bay is by float plane from the capitol of Alaska (Juneau). The flight south down Stephen's Passage is about 20 - 25 minutes. Juneau has several companies providing such flights and leave at the passengers pleasure. We are also reachable by boat from Juneau (65 miles) down spectacular Stephens Passage. As seen in the accompanying maps, the property is in close proximity to several exceptional areas of Southeast Alaska, including Frederick Sound, Endicott Arm, Sawyer Glacier, Dawes Glacier, Ford’s Terror and the Pack Creek bear viewing site on Admiralty Island.

The property lies within the Chuck River Wilderness of the Tongass National Forest which is managed by the U.S. Forest Service. It is the only private property on the six mile long bay.

There are many beautiful images of Windham Bay in our Photo Gallery.
