Power is supplied by deep-cycle storage batteries, charged by a generator which runs a few hours a day. Propane fuels the building heaters, kitchen stove, dryer and hot water heaters. Internet service and television are available by satellite. Telephone communications are provided by satellite and internet VOIP.
