The varied vistas offered by the Windham Bay area are a photographer’s dream. The calm reflection of the shoreline on the water, clouds wisp against the green hillsides, and the ever changing light on the mountains are a delight to behold.

Wildlife is abundant in and around Windham Bay to capture on film. Humpback and orca whales, sea lions, seal, salmon and other incredible marine life grace both the inner and outer bay. Birdlife includes Eagles and other birds of prey, seabirds, shorebirds, waterfowl and songbirds. Migrating geese and ducks use the Chuck River Estuary as a resting stop in their spring and fall migration. Brown bear, black bear, wolf, moose and deer take refuge among the hillsides.
