Panning for Gold in Windham Bay, Alaska

In the 1800’s gold was discovered at Windham Bay as reported by John Muir. For decades the area was hard rock mined. The offered property is in the area of the hidden remains of the historic Mildred Mine. Several more mine sites are nearby. Gold can be found by panning in the creeks flowing near the property.
