WINDHAM BAY
Water Excursions

A pleasant reward after a day of boating activity on normally placid Windham Bay can be returning to the lodge with ten pounds of glacial ice; enough for the evening cocktails.

Boating on & Around Windham Bay, Alaska

Kayaking and canoeing opportunities abound on the normally placid bay and on the fast flowing Chuck River. Our twenty plus knot Sea Sport offers you the opportunity to explore the numerious bays on Admiralty Island, which is only a few hours away immediately across Stevens Passage. Included in the wonders of Admiralty is the world famous Pack Creek brown bear viewing area. Immediately to the north of Windham Bay, along the coastline, is the famous Endicott Arm and Tracy Arm, and the beautiful Ford's Terror Fjord. A pleasant reward can be returning to the lodge with glacial ice from the Sawyer Glaciers in Endicott Arm, enough for the evening cocktails.
